“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” once again sets the Internet abuzz

An incredibly surreal season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City ended Tuesday night after the third part of its reunion special aired. And it was THE reunion episode as it addressed the most shocking plot points of the season.

In case you missed it, you shouldn’t have! – I wrote an introduction to the season finale. But the TL;DR: It was revealed that new actress Monica Garcia was, in part, behind a gossip account focused about the downfall of Jen Shah, a housewife turned convicted fraudster, as well as the shading of the other women in the cast. Then, while talking about this fact, actress Heather Gay revealed that Shah was responsible for giving her a black eye a few years ago, which was a long-standing mystery.

Garcia did not apologize for handling the account, although he may not have brought the best neither retorts the episode. Gay, meanwhile, did apologize for lying for Shah, who was sentenced to more than six years in prison in 2023.

The Internet had a lot thoughts on the episode. Bravo fans, celebrities, Bravolebrities and everyone else have jumped on board. After all, an actual member of Congress cited this season of ROSLC while in Congress. This event felt like the NFL playoffs for Bravo fans.

Some people didn’t like Garcia’s attempt to mean girls attachment. (To be honest, I agree.)

Others were upset about Gay’s departure very difficult on Garcia while covering Shah. (That’s fair.) And then some mourn the loss of Garcia, who would not be back next season.

Many people even supported Garcia, pointing out that there was no all that proof that the gossip account posted bad things about other women. The most damning information seemed to be the sharing of things Shah had said about his comrades. Although it’s entirely possible and, in fact, very likely, there wouldn’t be enough time in the show to analyze every last message.

Still, the women had information about Garcia appearing to drive past Shah’s house before his imprisonment, which is not illegal but rather disturbing.

Many people wondered where the show would go without Garcia and the drama she brings.

Bravolebrities and cast members reacted to the episode.

The show is over for now and, with Garcia’s future in question, it’s a mystery where ROSLC will go. But if the franchise has taught us anything, it’s that we have no idea what the answer is.
